OHS SafeAssist Ltd is a Taranaki based occupational health and safety services company. With over thirty years experience in the health and safety industry, Managing Director Denis Putt brings his vast experience to the benefit of his clients.  Denis has worked in the electricity, metals manufacturing, wood processing, herbicides/insecticides manufacturing, and oil and gas processing industries. He has worked as a consultant for local company’s TOSHA and Working for Health. In the last eight years, Denis has been deeply involved in the management of asbestos and occupational hygiene/exposure monitoring, 

Moving outside its original core focus, OHS SafeAssist Ltd has now expanded into the occupatiional health arena undertaking vaccinations, pre-employment/annual and exit medicals, quantitaive respirator fit testing and worker welnness. Occupational health nurses, administarors and technicans have come on board who all expwrienced in this area. 

OHS SafeAssist Ltd is PREQUAL approved. OHS SafeAssist Ltd has a network of professional individuals and companies that can be drawn upon to support activities just outside the scope of in-house expertise. This includes contaminated land consultants, occupational health experts and like minded health and safety consultants.

Denis is an associate member of NZOHS (New Zealand Occupational Hygiene Society), professional member of NZISM (New Zealand Institute of Safety Management  and is a member of ACGIH (Amercan Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists). Denis is HASANZ registered through NZISM.
